**Substitute School-wide Teacher (posted–05/02/2013)
The Stamford School is in search of a part time, 10 week substitute for a school-wide teacher beginning August 2013 until November 1, 2013. Applicants should be flexible and willing to work on a team to assist all student needs. Responsibilities include academic support across the curriculum in classrooms (grades 1st – 8th). Instructional delivery will include, but not limited to: 1:1, small group, and full classroom instruction. Applicants will be responsible for developing and implementing supplemental lessons as needed to further support student needs and/or requests by teachers. Applicant will be under the direct supervision of the Special Educator in the building.
**Paraprofessional (posted–05/02/2013)
The Stamford School is in search of a part-time paraprofessional (15 hours per week) for the 2013-2014 school year. The paraprofessional will be working in a middle school environment for academic support in reading comprehension.
**Music Teacher (.20 FTE) (posted – 04/02/2013) for the 2013-2014 school year
**Part time Librarian (position open until filled)
The successful applicant will need to have a certificate or certifiable as a library media specialist. The part time librarian will be a 2-day position. It is a shared position. The librarian will manage the school’s library budget regarding supplies and other school allocations. The librarian will also be given blocks of time that will require some teaching of library classes. The successful applicant will need to be able to interact positively with library patrons while also simultaneously interacting with students and school staff. Grant writing ability would be a plus.
